Bunny bunting to the rescue! The absolute easiest thing ever to buy for a quick change into and Easter inspired mantle is a bunny bunting. So simple and super affordable, especially if you catch it on sale. All you really need to get the look you want are 3 main components. 1. The perfect bunny bunting or banner (I usually find the best ones at Micheals) 2. A wreath that coordinates well with your bunting. 3. Last piece you so need a greenery garland that ties in as well. I like to pick a minimum of 3 colors and keep within a cohesive theme. Just ask yourself, when purchasing, is it the right color scheme?, and what style do I want? I tend to like the more natural neutral rustic style so that is why I chose white, green and browns. Now that you have a style and color scheme to stick to you can add in other elements. Most of us already have some decor so go through what you have and pick out the pieces that coordinate. Play around with placement until you achieve a desired look. Remember the rule of 3, items look best when grouped in odd numbers. Experiment with different textures and height arrangement. So remember start with your 3 basics and the rest will fall into place.
I just love this Dogwood wreath it ties in perfectly with my neutral decor. Finding a good wreath can be tricky. Make sure it looks as real as possible!
Pick your garland so that it keeps within your color scheme. I chose a more dainty one for this particular styling. The size and fullness really depends upon how and where you place it. Of course a thick full garland would be fabulous on the mantle itself.
Neutral Easter Mantle. Some pieces old some new, but it all pulled together nicely. Whether you love neutral or color just remember the 3 key components. You have this under control!
